M. Shahul Hameed brings over 50 years of fish industry experience. He has been involved in the fish meal industry since 2005. With his visionary leadership and industry experience, he started Hameed Marine Pvt Ltd on 9 January 2014 in Tamil Nadu.
As Managing Director of Hameed Marine Pvt Ltd, M. Shahul Hameed is the driving force behind the company's strategic direction and oversees the long-term vision of the company's growth. As Managing Director, he manages accounts, purchase, production, and overall daily operations of the factory. His main goal is to ensure Hameed Marine Pvt Ltd operates efficiently, maintains high quality standards, satisfies customers, and achieves sustainable growth.
His experience and involvement over the past 10 years have brought robust growth and impressive turnover, making Hameed Marine Pvt Ltd one of the leading companies in South India. Before taking over as Director of Hameed Marine Pvt Ltd, Azif had 5 years of experience in a multinational company in Australia. His Master's degree from Australia also helped him understand business development. He has been instrumental in growing Hameed Marine Pvt Ltd from a domestic to an international market in a sustainable, ethical, and environmentally conscious manner.
When Hameed Marine was founded in 2015, its focus was the domestic market. Azif saw the export opportunity, built the team and systems to pursue it, and led the certification work that transformed the company into an operation serving buyers across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Under Azif's leadership, Hameed Marine expanded into export markets. With dedicated teams, strategic direction, and innovative solutions, he ensured the highest standards of client satisfaction. Hameed Marine's robust growth led to an impressive increase in turnover within a few years. Azif works closely with all teams and collaborates with international clients.
His role today spans international business development, export operations, buyer communication, and the commercial side of the supplier qualification process. His market orientation and modern systems thinking took Hameed Marine to over 8 countries by 2022.
